What is ProductImage Pro?
It’s a macOS app that batch-processes product photos into clean square images. Just drag and drop a folder, and it automates resizing to a square of your chosen size, sequential renaming, and ZIP export. It’s ideal for preparing product images for online stores.
How much does it cost?
It’s free. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
What are the system requirements?
macOS 14 Sonoma or later (both Apple Silicon and Intel).
Do I need an internet connection?
No. All processing runs locally on your Mac with no network access. It works fully offline.
Input & Output
Which image formats are supported?
Input: JPEG / PNG / TIFF / HEIC (WebP where supported). Output: JPEG (square).
Which logo formats can I use?
PNG / JPEG / TIFF / HEIC / PSD (Photoshop) / PDF & AI (vector). PDF/AI are rendered as vectors, so they stay sharp at any size.
How do I load a folder?
Drag and drop a folder onto the window, or use the “Choose Folder” button. Images directly inside the folder are processed (subfolders are excluded).
Where are the outputs saved?
A “Processed” folder is created inside your input folder, containing the processed images and a ZIP. Your original images are never modified.
Processing Features
How does square conversion work?
It fits your image into a square of the chosen size while preserving the aspect ratio (with margins). Small images can be upscaled to fill the area, and margins are adjustable to the pixel.
What background options are there?
White / Edge Color / Custom Color / Blurred. “Blurred” automatically switches to a solid fill when the edges are uniform, so white-background products stay crisp and white.
Can I add logos or text?
Yes. You can composite logo images and text (e.g., copyright notices). Place multiple overlays at once and fine-tune position, size, opacity, and shadow (color/direction/distance/blur). A live preview on the right shows the result as you work.
Can I change the numbering rules?
Yes. Based on {folder}_{number}, you can set the digit count and start number.
Can I save and switch configurations?
The “Setting Profiles” feature lets you save output size, background, overlay configuration, and more under a name, and switch between them per project.
Troubleshooting
Some images were not processed
Unreadable or corrupted images are skipped, and processing continues (numbering stays gapless). Failed images are listed in the log after processing.
Can it handle many images?
Yes. With parallel processing and a memory-efficient design, it handles large numbers of big images efficiently.
Can I switch languages?
In Settings → Language, choose Follow System / 日本語 / English. It switches instantly.
Privacy
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything is processed locally, and no images or data are ever sent off your Mac.
Is any data collected?
No. The App does not collect personal data (Data Not Collected). See the Privacy Policy for details.
